The Hubs and I don't get a lot of  "alone" time. Mostly because it's hard for us to find a sitter for M. We try though. We both believe it's extremely important for adult time in a relationship, date nights are the best!

It had been a couple of months since our last date night. We were long over due for a night out on the town. My parents were able to watch M for the night...so dinner and dancing with the hubs were in our near future.

I had been running errands all day and the last thing I wanted to do was get super dolled up. You guys...I really wanted to go in shorts and a tee...flip flops included! I decided on skipping out on the tee and opted for an off the shoulder top instead. Traded the flops for sandals too.

This look was so effortless and perfect for a quick casual date night look.

The top was a Marshall's find. I cannot find the exact same one however, I linked a few similar [and affordable] tops here and here and here. The earrings I got at a vintage market. These are extremely similar. I love the deep coral with gold combo. You've probably seen this watch in my pictures plenty of times. It goes with everything. I've had it for a few years now and absolutely love it.

If you read my "what i wore" a few posts back, you know that I ordered this crossbody bag on Amazon and fell in love! Inexpensive, great material and tons of room. Comes in over 5 different colors but this apricot color is everything!

The shorts I paired the top with are the comfiest! They are high waisted and have a bit of stretch in them so they hold everything in place. Great price too!

For dinner we decided to go to Casa Colombia in Austin. You guys! This place is delicious!! I ordered the grilled veggie plate and it did not disappoint. The veggies are cooked with a chimichurri sauce and it makes such a huge difference. Loved it! Needless to say I was stuffed.

Drinks and dinner with the Hubs never disappoint. Time with the significant other is always important!! Don't you guys forget that! If you're from the Austin and surrounding area and have a favorite date night restaurant or activity to check out-leave it in the comments below! We love to try new things!!
